Mufflers and silencers are used on the exhaust ports of pneumatic control valves to reduce the noise emitted during the pneumatic exhaust cycle. The BSLM models are breather vents and offer extremely high flow but less noise suppression than typical pneumatic silencers. They can also be used as simple breather vents to allow air into a system and prevents debris from entering such products as hydraulic oil reservoirs.
