Fitting Function
This female stud fitting connects pneumatic tubing to a female threaded port in a compact straight configuration. The push-to-connect design allows quick tube installation while the release collar supports convenient tube removal during maintenance.
Important: This P-Series fitting is intended for industrial pneumatic and vacuum applications and is not approved for potable water service. Cut tubing squarely and push it fully into the fitting. To remove the tube, depress the grip collar; the Click-Click sound and feel indicate collar disengagement during tube release.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the fitting body made from?+
This model uses a Nickel-plated brass body. PC, PCF, PM, PMF and POC series use nickel-plated brass bodies; other P-Series models use lightweight engineering polymer bodies.
What material is the engineering polymer body made from?+
The body material is an acetal engineering polymer, formally known as POM (polyoxymethylene). It provides excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. It is selected for low friction, wear resistance, dimensional stability and reliable repeated operation.
What does the Click-Click feature do?+
The Click-Click feature provides audible and tactile feedback when the grip collar is depressed during tube release. It relates to disengagement of the gripping mechanism, not tube insertion.
Can this fitting be used for vacuum?+
Yes. This fitting is suitable for industrial compressed air and vacuum applications when used with compatible tubing and within the system's rated operating conditions.
Can this fitting be used for potable water?+
No. This P-Series fitting range is intended for industrial pneumatic and vacuum service and is not approved for potable water applications. For potable water applications, we recommend our S-Series stainless steel push-to-connect fittings.
