Important: This P-Series fitting is intended for industrial pneumatic and vacuum applications and is not approved for potable water service. Cut tubing squarely and push it fully into the fitting. To remove the tube, depress the grip collar; the Click-Click sound and feel indicate collar disengagement during tube release.
This model uses a Nickel-plated brass body. PC, PCF, PM, PMF and POC series use nickel-plated brass bodies; other P-Series models use lightweight engineering polymer bodies.
The body material is an acetal engineering polymer, formally known as POM (polyoxymethylene). It provides excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. It is selected for low friction, wear resistance, dimensional stability and reliable repeated operation.
The Click-Click feature provides audible and tactile feedback when the grip collar is depressed during tube release. It relates to disengagement of the gripping mechanism, not tube insertion.
